The Middle East talent Venice Film Festival showcase reached dazzling new heights at the 82nd edition of the prestigious event, held in Venice from August 27 to September 6, 2025. Armani Beauty, the festival’s official beauty sponsor, brought together global icons and rising stars from across the Middle East for a week of unforgettable celebrations.

One of the most glamorous backdrops was the Venice Venice Hotel, owned by the founders of Golden Goose. There, Spanish actor Miguel Angel Silvestre posed for photos, while Tunisian influencers Marwa Agrebi and Sara Cherif, alongside Moroccan influencer Meryem Said, attended a chic Armani cocktail gathering. Their presence underlined the growing influence of Middle Eastern creatives in global fashion and entertainment.

The celebrations reached a pinnacle at the Doge’s Palace overlooking St. Mark’s Square. Armani hosted a grand dinner, graced by Lebanese-Jordanian actress Andria Tayeh, star of Netflix’s Al Rawabi School for Girls. Named Middle East ambassador for Armani Beauty earlier this year, Tayeh also represents Kérastase and recently took on a new role as host of The Voice Kids. Reflecting on her experience, she said: “It was my first ever experience as a presenter, so it’s an honor to be able to do this with my MBC family. All of it is exciting, and I’m loving every second of it.”

The star-studded dinner featured plush green hydrangeas and white linens adorning the long table, with international guests such as Cate Blanchett, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and supermodel Madisin Rian in attendance. It was a perfect display of East-meets-West glamour, blending Hollywood names with Middle Eastern trailblazers.

Closing the festival on a high note, Giorgio Armani hosted the annual afterparty at the Arsenale di Venezia. Guests were treated to a nostalgic journey through archived runway show clips from 1975 to 2005, while a live DJ kept the energy alive until the early hours.

The Middle East talent Venice Film Festival spotlight proves how deeply intertwined global fashion, cinema, and culture have become. With ambassadors like Andria Tayeh and influencers across the Arab world making waves, Middle Eastern voices continue to rise on the international stage.
