Rolls-Royce Motor Cars strengthens leadership as John Beckley takes charge of the UK, Europe and Central Asia, overseeing key luxury markets from 2026.
John Beckley has officially taken up his role as Regional Director for the United Kingdom, Europe and Central Asia at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, effective 1 January 2026. The appointment places John Beckley at the helm of one of the marque’s most strategically important regions, spanning its home market alongside a mix of mature and fast-growing luxury territories.
The move underscores Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ focus on continuity and long-term growth across Europe and Central Asia. Based at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, Beckley assumes responsibility for regional performance, dealer partnerships and the continued expansion of Bespoke commissions, a core pillar of the brand’s strategy.
John Beckley brings nearly three decades of experience across the wider BMW Group and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. His deep operational knowledge and leadership background are seen as critical at a time when demand for highly personalised luxury vehicles continues to rise across global markets.
Commenting on the appointment, Julian Jenkins, Director of Sales and Brand at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said he was delighted to welcome Beckley to the role. Jenkins highlighted Beckley’s extensive strategic and operational experience, noting that his recent work in sales and Bespoke positions him well to maintain momentum in key markets where client demand for individuality is accelerating.
Beckley’s career began in 1996 with BMW Group as an apprentice technician in the UK. He progressed through technical and engineering roles to become a lead Field Product Engineer for BMW UK before joining Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in 2008 as an Aftersales Manager. This technical foundation later supported his successful transition into senior commercial and leadership positions.
During his tenure at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Beckley has held several senior roles, including Regional Head of Sales and Global Bespoke General Manager. Most recently, he led Global Sales Steering and Performance, where he helped align regional strategies with the company’s long-term objectives. He also played a central role in the launch of Cullinan, a milestone that broadened the brand’s appeal to new client segments.
John Beckley succeeds Boris Weletzky, who moves to a senior position within BMW Group’s Motorrad division in Munich. Under Weletzky’s leadership, the UK, Europe and Central Asia region delivered consistent growth and strengthened its long-term value, reinforcing Rolls-Royce’s position in established and emerging luxury markets.
With his appointment, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars signals confidence in experienced internal leadership to guide the brand through evolving client expectations and shifting market dynamics. Beckley’s blend of technical insight, sales expertise and Bespoke leadership is expected to support sustained growth and reinforce the marque’s standing across the region.
